Paul Haywood
As a practitioner Paul Haywood has diverse interests. He mostly collaborates with other artists, designers, educators and community governance professionals and volunteers. He has a continuing interest the process of creative engagement and creative social partnerships leading to intervenist actions in the public realm. In recent years he has developed a range of approaches to the use of art processes to encourage pedagogic engagement. He maintains a steady involvement in projects that employ creative methods in citizen led activism, social education and public development in the built environment.
Paul Haywood is a practitioner. He continues to paint and to explore colour interactions and harmonies prompted by compositional sources that connect landscape memories to pictorial geometry. He has a related though separately managed practice of responding to specific landscapes and places through digital photography, a means of specifying and distilling bi-chromatic relationships focused around a liminal axis, normally the horizon. Paul's has a studio at Ebor on the edge of the Lancashire Pennines in Littleborough, Rochdale.
